Our Response to DMCA Notices

After receiving a complete DMCA notice, we may take one or more of the following actions

Review the claim and request additional information if needed

Remove or disable access to the material that is claimed to be infringing

Notify the content publisher or responsible party if applicable

Repeat infringement may result in removal of content access or restrictions as appropriate

Counter Notification

If you believe the material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. Your counter notification must include the following

Your physical or electronic signature

Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal

A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification

Your name, address, phone number, and email address

A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district, or if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of a federal court where Scholars Road may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent
